Location: Melbourne

Salary: $160,000 - $200,000 package

The Builder:

Commercial Builder specialising in Institutional projects across Education, Commercial, Health and Government builds up to $20m. Best known for their supportive and collaborative environment, this Head Contractor is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to step into a Senior title and help drive standards and procedures, whilst managing contracts for a number of their recently awarded builds.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for the full contract administration life cycle, ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing all project-related contracts, including head contracts and subcontracts.

• Administering progress claims, variations, and extensions of time.

• Negotiating and resolving disputes with subcontractors and suppliers.

• Maintaining accurate project documentation and records.

• Collaborating with the project manager and site team to ensure successful project delivery.

About You:

• Proven experience as a Contract Administrator on commercial construction projects in Victoria

• Preferably with exposure to projects of a similar scale ($30m+).

• In-depth knowledge of Australian construction contracts and legal frameworks.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Experience using Jobpac

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.

• A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
